Job Summary

The Loan Operations Lead has a deep understanding of business processes, the technology that supports the process and the knowledge to assess moderately complex issues. May guidance to other team member or recommendation for process improvements within area of responsibility.

Leads are members of either the process or servicing team based on scope of knowledge, skills, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists imaging specialists with development and implementation of policies and procedures related to loan operations.
  • Assists with training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all staff.
  • Provides support to both the processing team and training team.
  • Uses knowledge of processing loans to assist in times of high demand.
  • Performs Quality Control on required loans.
  • Completes flood review on loans with property in a flood zone.
  • Assists with managing digital banking software.
  • Provides support to bank staff for inquiries and issues related to loan documentation.
  • Helps in the development of forms associated with processing tasks.
  • Posts incoming wires
  • Assists company partners with corrections, loan input/setup, maintenance, and payments
  • Reviews and corrects FSA inputs

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of related experience in loan operations or banking, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be familiar with regulatory compliance requirements related to this position
