Applicant must hold an earned PhD or doctorate degree in a discipline of Mathematics or Computer Science or Cybersecurity, or closely related field. In addition, the candidate must have qualifications that merits appointment as a tenured associate or full professor in the department, demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, and evidence of strong interpersonal and administrative skills. The successful candidate has a proven record of successful teaching and curriculum development; creativity and academic integrity; evidence of significant scholarly and creative endeavors; experience with accreditation; a strong commitment to and concern for student academic achievement and retention; excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills; and an ability to lead the faculty and the department with vision.

Additional Information:

Develop, recommend, and carry out mathematics, computer science, Cyber Security and Graduate Computer Science and Technology programs in support of the strategic goals of the university, and ensure the related programs align with University of Arkansas (UA) System requirements & policies.
