Summary of Job Duties:The Director of Agriculture Apprenticeship for Technical Education will be responsible for coordinating the development and revision of technical apprenticeship curricula under the direction and supervision of the Vice Chancellor for the McGehee campus. Specific responsibilities include: assisting with developing, revising, implementing, and maintaining curricula for the program, courses, and specialized training; program brochures, and other instructional-related publications; preparing and submitting reports; conducting and compiling curricula-related surveys for improvement of instruction; coordinating professional development, if needed; adhering to all policies and procedures; coordinating instructional offerings, resources, and activities with other educational partners/agencies; attending professional meetings and University functions as needed; adhering to deadlines; and submitting proposals for special projects: and performing other duties as assigned by the Vice Chancellor.Qualifications:

Qualifications: A master's degree is preferred (preferably in Agriculture education or related field) and a minimum of two years' work experience in Agriculture or Agriculture education, or related training environment; strong interpersonal and excellent written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with staff, faculty, and students, and educational partners; proficient computer skills; capacity to network with community and civic organizations, agencies, and business/industry; and be available for evening work as needed.
